LaKisha built Of Her Womb + Co. because she kept watching high-achieving women hit breaking points during family-building and nobody was solving it in a way that respected both the emotional weight of the experience and the reality of their lives.
She brings over 25 years of international executive leadership together with advanced training in birth, postpartum care, lactation, and perinatal mental health support. LaKisha's work has been recognized by CNN, NBC, and national media covering maternal health and women's resilience.
But what shapes how LaKisha shows up most is lived experience. She has navigated perinatal mental health challenges, high risk pregnancy, loss, and parenting while leading others. She knows what it feels like to need support and not have it in the way you actually need it.
